1.  Feasibility Studies

To study feasibility for development of project, includes  study of relevant policy, plan, regulations, international agreements, related studies, as well as case studies of  development and management at international level, analysis of economic and financial feasibilities of investment, assessment of appropriate sites for development project, include plan and pre-feasibility study of the highest ranked project in order for relevant government agencies to efficiently implement such a project.

2.  Advisory Service

To provide advisory services on the short and long-term development of the firm or system. Key objectives were to increase service efficiency as well as to reduce the financial burden of a firm. Major tasks included (i) recommending the improvements to the existing system, (ii) assessment of options for cost reduction and revenue enhancement, (iii) assessment of the development to increase efficiency and reliability, (iv) identifying environmental issues associated with the development and a preliminary economic and financial assessment of the long-term development.

3.  Finance

To determine their cost, expenses, income, insurance coverage, financial objectives, tax status, risk tolerance, or other information needed to develop a financial plan. Answering client questions about financial plans and strategies and giving financial advice.

4.  Planning

Responsible for developing transportation strategies that encompass the needs of all transport users including pedestrians and cyclists, and which consider environmental, efficiency and safety issues. They can work in the private or public sector.

5.  Transport

Forecasts for ridership and annual fare income.

6.  Traffic

To study, design and implementation of signal timing plans and Traffic Management, assisting with developing new signal timing plans, timing log updates, signal system backups, and assisting with inspections of new traffic signals.   Other duties include responding to citizen requests regarding traffic issues; reviewing traffic signal plans, sign/pavement marking plans, and performing traffic studies.

7.  Design

Develops and standardizes procedures and methods to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of engineering services, directs, through subordinate engineering managers, to build functional requirement to development of short and long term conceptual designs for capital and operating budget projects necessary to maintain and upgrade existing facilities.

8.  ITS/MIS/GIS

To develop an MIS/GIS database and an application. Include implementing software and solution for the projects. specially developed software programs for use in transport planning, including tracking and transport management, in terms of safety and economy. Including maintenance software.
